DSA is partnering with Organized Power in Numbers to co-lead a Neighborhood Defense Team training. DSA recognizes immigration justice as a socialist issue because attacks on immigrants are used to divide the working class and undermine collective power. Building neighborhood defense strengthens solidarity, protects communities, and advances the fight for a society where everyone can live with dignity.

As part of the Workers Over Billionaires campaign launched by Organized power in numbers, our Neighborhood Defense Team trainings have trained up over 3,000 volunteers this year on how to talk to workers and businesses about their constitutional rights to defend themselves from ICE raids.
